Women’s Soccer: Huskers, Bluejays Win Season Openers

Reagan Raabe scored two goals in the Nebraska women’s soccer team’s season opener last night at Hibner Stadium, leading the Huskers to a 3-0 win over Western Illinois.  Nebraska visits Missouri on Sunday. 

Meantime, the Creighton women’s soccer club posted a dramatic win in its opener at Morrison Stadium.  Freshman Hailey Rothwell headed a shot into the back of the net with 46 seconds left in double overtime to give the Bluejays a 2-1 victory over Montana. 

The Bluejays will host Drake Sunday at 1 p.m.
