Wichita State Shocks Huskers in First Two Innings Wednesday

Nebraska’s baseball team suffered a 9-3 loss at Wichita State last night.

The Shockers jumped on Huskers freshman starter Ryan Harrahill for four runs, three earned, in his one inning of work.  Caleb Clark came on in relief in the second inning and surrendered five runs, most coming on a two-out grand slam as Wichita State led 9-0 after two innings.

Nebraska hit back-to-back homers in the ninth, including Max Buettenback’s pinch-hit inside-the-park home run.  NU is now 10-5 on the season.
