Weidner Goes Over 2,000 Career Points in GRC Tourney

Humphrey St. Francis standout Allison Weidner reached a milestone in the Flyers’ GRC tournament win last night. 

The Nebraska recruit went over 2,000 career points by scoring 17 in the Flyers’ 89-16 romp over Riverside.  St. Francis stayed unbeaten at 13-0 and will face Burwell in Friday’s GRC tourney semifinals, set for 6 p.m. in St. Paul. 

The Longhorns defeated Central Valley 46-20. 

In the other quarterfinal bracket, Nebraska Christian downed Heartland Lutheran 54-21 and Fullerton doubled up Palmer 56-28.  The Eagles meet the Warriors Friday around 7:45 p.m.
