Volleyball Results for NU, CU and CCC

Nebraska’s volleyball team topped Kansas State 3-1 yesterday at the Husker Invitational. 

NU had opened its season Friday with a 3-0 victory over Colgate.  Nebraska will host the Ameritas Players Challenge this weekend at the Devaney Center. 

Meanwhile, Creighton won the Mizzou Invitational on Saturday with its third consecutive sweep when the Bluejays beat Missouri 3-0.  CU will travel to Lexington, Kentucky on Friday to face USC in the Bluegrass Battle. 

And CCC volleyball went 2-1 in the Northeast CC tourney at Norfolk.  After getting swept in three sets by Barton CC on Friday, Central beat Williston State 3-1 and downed Garden City CC 3-0 on Saturday.  The Raiders will again travel to Norfolk Thursday to take on Northeast.
