Vikings Fall to York in Softball Subdistrict; Area Scores

Lakeview’s softball club was out-slugged by York 14-10 in the B-7 subdistrict tournament at Aurora last night. 

The loss dropped the Vikings season record to 16-10. 

In other subdistrict scores, Schuyler was blanked by Wayne 17-0, North Bend Central fell to Raymond Central 13-5, Aquinas downed Milford 9-1 before the Monarchs fell in the final to Malcolm 17-0, Highway 91 won its subdistrict by beating Centennial 11-0 and Fairbury 4-1, Polk County won a subdistrict title by going 2-0 while Central City and Twin River were 0-1, and Boone Central beat St. Paul 11-6 but fell in the final to Hastings St. Cecilia 11-3.
