Two Huskers, One Bluejay Help USA Volleyball Win Gold

Two Nebraska volleyball players and one from Creighton helped the U.S. junior national volleyball team win a gold medal at the Pan American Cup. 

The Americans defeated Argentina last night for the second time in four days to finish the tourney with a 5-0 record.  The scores of the gold medal match were 25-20, 21-25, 25-22, 25-14. 

Freshman Bekka Allick had 12 kills and two blocks yesterday, while her Husker teammate Lexi Rodriguez had 24 digs.  Creighton’s Norah Sis had one kill and one block.
