Tuesday’s High School Soccer Roundup

In prep soccer Tuesday, the Columbus High boys lost for the first time this season. 

The Discoverers fell at home to Lincoln Southwest 1-0, slipping to 6-1.  Meanwhile, the CHS girls beat Fremont 2-0 at Wilderness Park, improving to 6-3. 

Libbie Brezenski scored five goals to lead the Scotus girls to a 6-3 victory at Kearney Catholic.  The Shamrocks are now 8-1.  In the boys match, Scotus is no longer unbeaten after a 2-1 loss to the Stars.  The Shamrocks are 7-1. 

And in Schuyler, the Warriors boys defeated Lincoln Lutheran/Raymond Central 6-3.  Playing the same foe, the Schuyler girls were edged 3-2.
