Tigers Begin Quest for 4-Peat at Girls State Tournament

North Bend Central begins its quest to win a fourth consecutive girls state basketball title today.
The Tigers are the No. 1 seed and face Yutan in the C1 quarterfinals. Tipoff at the Bob Devaney Sports Center is set for 9 a.m. The game will be broadcast on 93.5 The Hawk.
Three other area girls teams will play their state tourney opener tomorrow. You can hear the C2 quarterfinals involving Clarkson/Leigh and Cross County on The Hawk, while Humphrey St. Francis’ D2 game will be aired on KLIR 101.
