Thursday Volleyball Roundup, Scotus Invite Not Open to Public

In prep volleyball last night, Columbus High went 1-1 in a home triangular.  The Discoverers lost to Lincoln Pius X 2-0.  Later, CHS won in two sets over Grand Island.  Pius beat G.I. 2-0 in the middle match.  Columbus is 2-4 on the season.

Meantime, Lakeview swept Seward 3-0 in the Vikings’ home opener.  The Lady Vikes are 2-0. 

Scotus is 1-1 and will host the Shamrock Invitational tomorrow.  Bishop Neumann had to withdraw from the eight-team tourney due to COVID 19 concerns, so the Scotus varsity will face its own JV in its first match. 

Due to COVID restrictions, the Scotus tourney is not open to the general public.  Only parents of participants with a ticket will be admitted.
