Former Nebraska head coach Frank Solich is on the College Football Hall of Fame ballot for a second consecutive year.
Solich was one of nine FBS coaches to earn a spot on the 2024 ballot released today.
During his 22 seasons as a head coach, Solich compiled a record of 173-101. He had a 58-19 record in six seasons at Nebraska from 1998-2003. Solich, who was recently honored at NU’s Red-White Spring Game, coached the Huskers to the BCS championship game in 2001 and to the 1999 Big 12 title.
He’s also the winningest coach in MAC history, leading Ohio University to 115 wins and 11 bowl appearances.
College football’s 2024 hall of fame class will be announced early next year.
