Softball: Lakeview, Columbus Both Go 1-2 at Invites

In prep softball on Saturday, Lakeview went 1-2 at the Central City Invitational. 

The Vikings defeated Minden 12-4, but dropped a 6-1 decision to Central City and were out-slugged by Aquinas 12-10.  Lakeview will take its 7-10 record to Crete this evening. 

Meanwhile, Columbus went 1-2 at the Lincoln Southeast Invite.  The Discoverers shaded North Platte 9-8, but fell to Norris 12-0 and lost to Lincoln Northeast 8-4. 

CHS is 5-17 and is slated to host Lincoln East in a doubleheader today.
