Softball: CHS Falls in District Final, Lakeview at Elkhorn Today

Columbus High’s softball team finished as the A-5 district runner-up. 

The Discoverers beat Fremont 12-5 in Thursday’s semifinals, before being blanked by Lincoln East 12-0 in the district final.  Columbus ends the season at 14-23. 

Meanwhile, Lakeview visits Elkhorn today for a district B-8 best-of-three final series.  In Class C, Central City hosts Ponca in a final series today and Aquinas visits Milford tomorrow.
