Smith Tied for the Lead in New Orleans Tourney

Nebraska golfer Kate Smith shot a two-over par 74 yesterday and shares the tournament lead through 36 holes at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate tourney in New Orleans.
Smith fired an opening round one-under 71 on Sunday. Husker Kirsten Baete heads into today’s final round in a tie for sixth at five-over, just four strokes off the lead.
In the team standings, Nebraska is second in the 13-team field, trailing only Texas State.
