Scouts Girls Representing David City in Tourney Championship

In the David City Holiday tournament, the Scouts girls were the only local team to advance to today’s championship round. 

David City’s girls beat Palmyra 47-20 in the final game of the day Thursday.  The Scouts are 3-4 and will meet DC West, which is 4-4, in the title tilt.  The Falcons beat Aquinas 57-40 yesterday. 

The girls championship will be broadcast on 93.5 The Hawk, starting around 5:45 p.m. 

On the boys side, the Monarchs dropped a 62-34 decision to DC West, while the Scouts fell to the Panthers 62-47.  Aquinas and David City are both 3-3 and will meet in the boys consolation game at noon.  It will not be on the air.
