Scotus Soccer Teams Post Shutouts in Norfolk

Both Scotus soccer clubs posted shutout wins at Lutheran High/Norfolk Catholic last night. 

In boys’ action, the Shamrocks won 6-0.  It was the fifth shutout of the season for Scotus and the fifth win in the past six matches.  The Shamrocks are 6-3 and will host Madison next Tuesday.  The Dragons beat Seward 6-0 last night. 

In the girls’ match in Norfolk, Scotus blanked the Eagles 4-0.  The Shamrocks have won nine straight, recording seven shutouts during that stretch.  On the season, the Scotus girls are 10-2 and have blanked their opponent eight times.  They’re off until next Thursday, when the Shamrocks host Schuyler.  The Warriors girls fell to Lincoln Lutheran/Raymond Central 10-0 last night, while the Schuyler boys were edged by the same opponent 1-0.
