Scotus-Lakeview Match Headlines Volleyball Action Tonight

City rivals Scotus and Lakeview meet in volleyball tonight.  The first meeting of the season between the Shamrocks and Vikings will be at Lakeview. 

Scotus is 7-4 on the season, while Lakeview comes in with a 13-2 record.  You can hear play-by-play of tonight’s match on KLIR 101.  First serve is set for 7 p.m. 

Both teams will be competing this Saturday in the Columbus Classic at Scotus.  In the first round of the tourney, the Shamrocks meet Centennial, while the Vikings take on Beatrice.  Other first round matches pit Norfolk Catholic against Blair and Kearney Catholic vs. Hastings. 

Tonight, Columbus High entertains Hastings.  The Discoverers are 6-11, but have won three of their last four matches.  The Tigers are 11-10.  First serve is at 6:30 p.m.
