The Scotus girls basketball team has moved into this week’s Lincoln Journal Star ratings. 

In the first update since its preseason ratings, the 5-3 Shamrocks entered yesterday’s C-1 rankings at number 10.  North Bend Central, at 5-0, remained at number 1 while 6-0 David City was listed as a contender.  Other area girls teams rated include Clarkson/Leigh holding steady at number-7 in C-2, with Fullerton listed as a contender.  In D-1, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family slipped two spots to number 3, while Howells-Dodge and Nebraska Christian were contenders.  In D-2, Humphrey St. Francis jumped three spots to number 3 and 7-0 Osceola entered the ratings at number 6. 

The Lincoln publication is out today with its first updated boys rankings.  North Bend Central is tenth in C-1.  Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family, at 6-0, is still atop the C-2 rankings, while the team it defeated in last year’s D-1 championship Howells-Dodge slipped two spots to number 5.  Cross County is a C-2 contender.  Riverside is listed as a contender in D-1, while in D-2 Osceola remains at number 2 and St. Francis is down one spot to number 4.
