Scheierman Sets Record, But Bluejays Fall in Overtime
Creighton’s Baylor Scheierman set a national record last night, but the Bluejays fell at Providence 91-87 in overtime.
Scheierman became the first men’s player in NCAA Division I history to surpass 2,000 career points, 1,000 rebounds, 500 assists and 300 three-pointers. He posted his ninth double-double of the season, finishing with 27 points and 11 rebounds. But CU slipped to 16-7, 7-5 in the Big East.
