Following the Nebraska football team’s practice yesterday, inside linebackers coach Barrett Ruud was among those who spoke to the media.

He praised sophomore linebacker Luke Reimer.  Ruud said while Reimer is still learning the intricacies of the Huskers’ defense, he’s about as athletic as any player on the team.

“He’s got as good of a motor as anybody on our team’s got,” Ruud said.  “He’s done a great job since he’s been here and I think he’s only getting better and better.”

Nebraska is preparing to kick off its season on October 24th with a visit to Ohio State.
