Results for H/LHF Bowling Teams in State Tournament Tuesday

The girls and boys bowling teams from Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family both competed in Tuesday’s Class B state team championships in Lincoln.
The Bulldogs girls, who were seeded No. 2 in the eight-team tourney, defeated Arapahoe 3-1 in the first round and then got by Elkhorn North 3-2. But, H/LHF was then taken down by eventual champion Wayne 3-1. The Bulldogs needed another win over Elkhorn North to meet Wayne in the final, but lost 3-2.
In the boys tournament, the sixth-seeded Bulldogs were downed by Elkhorn North 3-1 in the opening round. After a 3-2 win over Hartington-Newcastle, H/LHF was ousted in a 3-1 loss to Wayne.
Seward won the boys team title.
