Reimer Named to Butkus Award Watch List

Nebraska linebacker Luke Reimer was named to the Butkus Award watch list today. Reimer will be in his third season as a starter for the Blackshirts in 2022.
Last season, he earned honorable-mention All-Big Ten recognition after making 108 tackles, including six tackles for loss. The Lincoln North Star grad also forced three fumbles and had seven pass breakups.
Reimer is one of six Big Ten linebackers on the 51-player watch list for the Butkus Award, presented annually to the nation’s top linebacker.
