As Nebraska prepares to host Penn State this Saturday, coach Scott Frost talked with reporters following the Huskers practice yesterday.  Frost took several questions about NU’s quarterback situation, after both Adrian Martinez and Luke McCaffrey saw playing time in last Saturday’s loss at Northwestern.

Frost said this week’s plan is to let them compete in practice and “play the guy that practices the best and gives us the best chance to win.”

A reporter noted that Martinez completed just 12 of 27 passes against the Wildcats and asked Frost how that can get better.  “I think there just needs to be some decisions that are made a little quicker and more efficiently,” Frost said.

Saturday’s kickoff is set for 11 a.m. The pre-game begins at 6 on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 10:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
