Prep Hoops: CHS Swept by Pius, Scotus Girls Win Again

Columbus High’s basketball teams dropped their home games to Lincoln Pius X on Saturday. 

The Discoverers boys fell 55-35.  Conner Micek had a team-high 12 points for CHS, which slipped to 4-6.  The Columbus girls bowed to the Thunderbolts 45-31.  Their fourth straight loss dropped the Discoverers to 4-7. 

Meanwhile, the Scotus girls extended their winning streak to eight games by posting a 41-40 victory at Bishop Neumann.  The Shamrocks improved to 8-2 on the season.
