Prep Basketball: Lakeview Boys Bow, Girls Win

Lakeview High’s basketball teams split their games at DC West last night.
In the boys game, the Vikings fell behind the Falcons 28-13 after one quarter en route to a 70-57 setback. Eli Osten recorded a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds for Lakeview. The Vikings slipped to 2-8.
Katee Korte scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, helping the Lakeview girls to a 45-20 victory. Haley Frenzen also had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds as the Lady Vikes won their fourth straight, improving to 7-3.
Lakeview’s clubs will host Grand Island Northwest tonight.
