Polk County and Central City Ousted at State Softball

The softball postseason ended for both Polk County and Central City yesterday in the state tournament.
The Slammers fell to NEN 12-4 in six innings. Polk County went 25-12 overall after going 0-2 in Hastings.
Central City rallied for a 17-15 victory over NEN, but then lost to Bishop Neumann 18-5. The Bison went 2-2 at state and finished 26-5.
