Pavan Leads Canada’s Beach Volleyball Team to Olympics Win

Former Nebraska volleyball player Sarah Pavan and Canada finished on top of Pool A in women’s beach volleyball at the Olympics. 

Pavan had a match-high 16 kills and four blocks as Canada posted a 2-0 sweep of Switzerland last night. She also served a pair of aces as Canada finished pool play with a 3-0 record. 

Canada advanced to the beach volleyball playoffs, which begin on Saturday.
