Omaha’s Pro Volleyball Team Signs First Two Players
Nebraska volleyball announced the first two players on its roster yesterday. The Omaha team has signed former Husker outside hitter Gina Mancuso-Prososki and Sydney Hilley, a setter who helped Wisconsin win a national championship.
Mancuso-Prososki is a Bellevue native and 2013 NU graduate. She was a first-team All-American in 2011 and earned second-team honors in 2012.
Hilley graduated from Wiscsonsin in 2021, when she led the Badgers to a national championship. She’s Wiscsonin’s all-time assist leader and was named a first-team All-American three times.
Omaha’s team is in the Pro Volleyball Federation, which is expected to begin its first season early next year.
