NU, Frost Under Investigation by the NCAA

Nebraska has confirmed that its football program is under NCAA investigation.

According to The Action Network, the Huskers allegedly had analysts working in improper roles during games and practices.  It’s also alleged NU had unauthorized off-campus workouts dating back to last year when those activities were banned due to the pandemic.

Coach Scott Frost told reporters today that any workouts were approved by his superiors.  Then-athletic director Bill Moos announced his retirement in June.  The Associated Press said Moos did not respond to its text message seeking comment.  NU’s new AD Trev Alberts today acknowledged the investigation and said Nebraska’s coaches, including Frost, have been very accessible working with the NCAA and will continue to be.
