Nebraska football will kick off its 2021 season with a game in Dublin, Ireland.  It was announced today that the Huskers will face Illinois on August 28, 2021.

It will be the second of a five-game series of college football on the Emerald Isle.  Navy and Notre Dame will meet in Dublin next season.

NU’s visit to Dublin will mark the Huskers’ first contest outside the U.S. since Nebraska beat Kansas State in the 1992 Coca-Cola Bowl in Tokyo.

Nebraska also announced it will host Southeastern Louisiana on November 13, 2021, the previously scheduled date for the Illinois game.

Also today, the Big Ten Conference announced that NU’s next game a week from this Saturday against Indiana will kick off at 2:30 p.m. and will be televised by BTN.
