NU Baseball’s Anderson Earns Postseason Honor

Nebraska infielder Max Anderson has added another postseason honor.  He was named a second-team freshman All-American yesterday by Perfect Game/Rawlings.

Anderson was also named a freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball earlier this month.  Two other Big Ten freshmen – Maryland’s Matt Shaw and Ohio State’s Kade Kern – were also second-team picks.

Anderson finished the season second on the Huskers in both average at .332 and with 61 hits. He added seven home runs and 32 RBI in 45 games.
