Minnesota high school star Kendall Coley has joined the Nebraska women’s basketball program early and is expected to be eligible to play for the Huskers this season.

Coley was a consensus top-50 player nationally as a senior this year.  But, the start of the high school season in Minnesota has been delayed by the pandemic.

Coley graduated from St. Louis Park High in Minneapolis late last week, moved to Lincoln over the weekend and has completed mandatory COVID-19 testing.

She was at Pinnacle Bank Arena yesterday as the Huskers lost to Minnesota 76-71, despite Sam Haiby’s 25 points and 12 rebounds.  NU dropped to 7-5 overall and 5-4 in the Big Ten.

The Huskers visit Illinois next Monday.
