Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez was impressive on Saturday in the Huskers’ 37-27 win at Purdue.

Martinez completed 23-of-30 passes for 242 yards and a touchdown, while adding 45 yards and two scores on the ground.  Afterwards, he was asked why Nebraska’s passing game has been better the past two weeks.

“Luke (McCaffrey) and I pushing each other in practice,” Martinez said.  “We’ve just all really been honed in on the detail and our receivers have really started to come into their own.”

The Huskers will host Minnesota this Saturday.  Kickoff is set for 11 a.m.  Pre-game coverage starts at 6 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 10:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
