Linebacker Payne Will Transfer From Nebraska

Nebraska outside linebacker Pheldarius Payne is entering the transfer portal.
Payne appeared in 18 games off NU’s bench in the past two seasons. In that time, he had three sacks, which tied for third-most on the team. Payne had 19 tackles this past season, including two-and-a-half for loss.
He is the fourth Husker to enter the transfer portal, following running backs Sevion Morrison and Marvin Scott and quarterback Adrian Martinez.
