Former Nebraska standout Lavonte David has reportedly agreed to a contract extension with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

David has agreed to a two-year, $25 million extension to remain with the Super Bowl champions, according to multiple reports.

Since being drafted in the second round of the 2012 NFL draft, the 31-year old linebacker has spent his entire professional with the Buccaneers.  Since 2000, David is one of only three players with 1,000 or more tackles and 20-plus sacks in their first nine seasons.
