Lakeview’s Legion Baseball Teams Whip Hooper-Scribner

Lakeview’s Legion baseball clubs cruised to a pair of home wins over Hooper-Scribner last night. 

The Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors erupted for 11 runs in the second inning of a 15-1 romp in five innings.  Sam Kwapnioski went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, two runs and a stolen base.  Brenden Sloup stroked a double in his lone official at-bat and scored three runs.  Lakeview is 3-0 and is averaging 14 runs per game. 

The Owens Wealth Advisors Junior Reds won 12-4 in five frames.  Caden Kapels was 3-for-3 with a double, two RBI, two runs and a stolen base.  Lakeview’s Juniors have won three straight to improve to 3-1. 

Both Lakeview teams visit Takamah-Herman this evening.
