The Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors erupted for six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to finish a 9-1 victory over Ponca last night. 

Eli Osten pitched a five-inning complete game at Pawnee Park Field.  Osten allowed one run on three hits, walking just one batter while striking out 10.  Bank of the Valley improved to 12-0 on the season. 

Earlier in the evening, the Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds blanked Ponca 8-0 in five innings.  Parker Osten worked four scoreless frames and Greyson Vogt tossed a perfect inning.  Caleb Cameron was 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs and Sam Olmer went 3-for-3 with two RBI and scored a run.  The Junior Reds’ third straight win upped their record to 8-5. 

Lakeview’s clubs will visit West Point tonight.  The Seniors game will decide which team will be the top seed in the South Division of the Ralph Bishop League tournament, which begins on Sunday.
