Lakeview’s Kitt, Berkeland Make Class B State Golf Tourney

Lakeview’s girls golf just missed qualifying as a team for the Class B state tourney, but two Vikings will be going.
Hannah Kitt shot an 85 and earned third in the B-3 district tournament at Jackrabbit Run. Her Lakeview teammate, Grace Berkeland, punched her ticket to state with a tenth place finish after carding a 104.
Lakeview recorded a team score of 406 and just missed a trip to state as a club by finishing fourth.
The Class B state tourney will be held at Monument Shadows Golf Course near Gering next week.
