Lakeview Wins Four Gold Medals at Conference Track Meet

Lakeview’s boys finished in fourth place, while the Vikings girls were seventh out of 10 teams participating in the Central Conference track and field meet Friday at Holdrege.
In boys’ action, Turner Halvorsen won a gold medal in the 800 meters, Braxton Borer won the 110-meter hurdles and Lakeview won the 4X400 meter relay.
On the girls’ side, Blake Barcel edged Vikings teammate Macy Stock for first place in the 200 meters.
