Huskers Tie Single-Season Homer Mark in Win at Purdue

Nebraska smacked three more home runs in a 10-5 win at Purdue last night.

The Huskers matched their single-season record of 93 homers set in 1985.  With their fifth straight win, NU improved to 30-20-1 on the year and 14-8 in the Big Ten.

With today’s forecast in Indiana, the second game of the series has been moved up to a Noon first pitch.  Due to schedule conflicts, it can no longer be aired on News Talk 900 KJSK.
