Huskers Lose Despite 29 Points By McGowens

Bryce McGowens tied his season-high with 29 points, but the Nebraska men’s basketball team fell to Rutgers 63-61 on Saturday. 

McGowens’ point total matched the most ever by a Husker freshman in a conference game.  But the Scarlet Knights outscored NU 9-3 down the stretch.  Nebraska is 6-15 overall and 0-10 in the Big Ten. 

The Huskers visit Michigan tomorrow for an 8 p.m. game.  The pregame starts at 7 on News Talk 900 KJSK.
