Huskers Kicker Culp on Lou Groza Award Watch List

Nebraska kicker Connor Culp is in the national spotlight today.  The Huskers senior has been named to the watch list for the 2021 Lou Groza Award.

Culp had an impressive first season for NU in 2020.  He hit on 13 of 15 field goal attempts and all 20 of his extra point tries for a team-high 59 points.  Culp won Big Ten Kicker of the Year and was a first-team All-Big Ten pick.  His 86.7 percent efficiency on field goals ranked second in the conference and 13th nationally.

Culp is one of 30 players on the preseason watch list for the Groza Award, presented annually to the nation’s top kicker.
