Huskers Hit Three More Homers, Win Home Opener

Nebraska cruised to a 12-1 victory in seven innings over Northern Colorado in the Huskers’ home opener Tuesday evening.
NU belted three home runs in the game at Haymarket Park. Nebraska has homered in 10 consecutive games, which is the second-longest streak since at least 1999. The Big Red went yard in 11 straight games in 2004.
Nebraska improved to 6-4-1 on the season. The Huskers and Bears are scheduled to wrap up the two-game series today at 2:05 p.m.
