Huskers DL Rogers To Transfer From Nebraska

Casey Rogers was expected to start on Nebraska’s defensive line next season.  But, according to multiple reports Rogers entered the NCAA transfer portal yesterday.

The surprising move impacts a Husker unit that already had limited depth.  Rogers missed this year’s spring practice with a knee injury that also cost him the first five games last season.

In seven games last year he was credited with 17 tackles and half a sack.  The native of Syracuse, New York played in 19 games over three seasons at Nebraska, finishing with 42 tackles including six for loss and one-and-a-half sacks.
