Husker Gymnast Houchin Wins Regional Honor

Nebraska women’s gymnast Taylor Houchin won regional honors yesterday.  Houchin was named Region 4 Gymnast of the Year in a vote by coaches.

During the 2020 season, Houchin recorded 13 scores of 9.90 or higher.  She was one of the nation’s best gymnasts on vault, for which she won First Team All-American honors earlier.
