Girls Soccer: Shamrocks, Discoverers Both Downed

In high school soccer Monday, the Scotus girls were edged by Millard North 2-1 at Wilderness Park.
Mia Fehringer had the lone goal for the Shamrocks. Scotus is now 8-2 and will visit Schuyler on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Columbus High girls fell to Lincoln East 6-0 in the opening round of the Heartland Athletic Conference tournament in Lincoln.
The Discoverers, who slipped to 7-4, will play Lincoln Pius X tomorrow in the third place match.
