Girls Bowling Goes 1-2 in State Team Championships

Columbus High girls bowling went 1-2 in today’s team championships at the state bowling tournament.
The seventh-seeded Discoverers knocked off number-2 seed Seward 3-0 in the first round.
But, CHS was edged by Papillion-La Vista South 3-2 to drop into the lower bracket. In their third match, the Discoverers were shaded by fifth-seeded Millard West 3-2.
On Monday, Madison Henderson of Columbus High’s girls team won an individual state title in Nebraska’s first ever state bowling tourney.
