Frost Says NU’s Recruiting Class is “Really Good”
The Nebraska football team’s December signing class has added 31 players to the Huskers program for next season.
NU signed 19 scholarship players, including five Nebraska prospects. The Huskers also announced a walk-on class of 12 players including 10 Nebraskans and two Iowans.
Considering that COVID-19 halted recruiting trips and player visits to Lincoln, coach Scott Frost said he was “really impressed” with his staff’s recruiting efforts.
“I think we signed a really good class; a lot of pieces that are going to fit together with what we have,” Frost said. “And I think it’s going to be the key to getting us over the top.”
Meantime, the current Nebraska football team visits Rutgers tomorrow to wrap up its season. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. The pre-game begins at 1:30 p.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK. It will be joined at 6 on 93.5 The Hawk.
