Frost: Lots of Answers Needed For Football to Begin

Nebraska football coach Scott Frost says a lot of questions still need to be answered about when this season – and the practices for it – can begin.

Frost told Greg Sharpe on Sports Nightly last night on News Talk 900 KJSK that four to six-week models for players to prepare for a football season have been talked about.

Frost said every governor, university president and athletic director in the country are “going to have a say in whether their institution plays football or not.”

“I think we need to be talking about how to get student-athletes back to their campuses without risking infection in their communities,” Frost said.

The Big Ten’s current ban on all team activities runs through this month, but Frost said he’s “really confident” in NU’s players working out on their own.
