Nebraska football coach Scott Frost hopes there’s a large contingent of Husker fans at Illinois for Saturday’s season opener.
Following today’s practice, Frost was asked about his thoughts on playing in front of a large crowd after limited attendance last year. “College football is a better game when the fans are involved,” Frost said. Frost also said this year’s team is “far and away my favorite group of kids I have been around since I’ve been here.”
Saturday’s kickoff in Champaign is set for shortly after noon. The pregame starts at 8 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 11:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
