Nebraska coaches Scott Frost and Fred Hoiberg will donate part of their salaries for the upcoming year back to the NU athletic department.

The school said in a statement today that the Huskers football and men’s basketball coaches are making the donation to the department’s general operating fund to help offset revenue shortfalls because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The statement said the amount of the donations will be determined when the 2021 budget is closer to being finalized.

Frost’s salary is $5 million this year.  Hoiberg is set to earn $3 million.
